{"id":339454,"date":"2021-03-03T06:00:05","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T20:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=339454"},"modified":"2021-03-03T06:00:05","modified_gmt":"2021-03-02T20:00:05","slug":"more-nmc-nursing-graduates-pass-nclex-rn-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/more-nmc-nursing-graduates-pass-nclex-rn-2\/","title":{"rendered":"More NMC Nursing graduates pass NCLEX-RN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three Northern Marianas College graduates\u2014John Angello, Camille Masga, and Mark Reyes\u2014have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN.<\/p>\n<p>The NCLEX-RN exam is the exam nursing graduates in the CNMI have to pass in order to be able to practice nursing. The exam tests the knowledge, skills, and abilities of nursing graduates in order to certify that they are equipped with the capability to apply entry level nursing practices correctly. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great to see more and more NMC nursing graduates pass the challenging NCLEX-RN,\u201d said NMC interim president Frankie Eliptico. \u201cI congratulate John, Camille, and Mark on this accomplishment.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>NMC Nursing Department chair Rosa Aldan also congratulated the three on their achievements. \u201cJohn, Camille, and Mark have bright futures in the nursing field and we expect to see great things from them as their educational and professional journeys continue,\u201d Aldan said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_339456\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-339456\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/John-Angello-mug-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-339456\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-339456\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Angello<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Angello, a former hospital corpsman for the U.S. Navy said that NMC was supportive in his endeavor to become a nurse. \u201cI found out that patient care is my greatest passion [while in the Navy,]\u201d Angello said. He is currently working at the Rota Health Center.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_339455\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-339455\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Camille-Masga-mug-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-339455\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-339455\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Masga<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Masga, her motivation for pursuing a nursing degree was the love she has for helping others. \u201cI knew that nursing was not only a profession but an ongoing passion that would include\u00a0helping others achieve their highest level of wellness,\u201d Masga said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_339457\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-339457\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Mark-Reyes-mug-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-339457\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-339457\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Reyes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For Reyes, NMC\u2019s nursing instructors prepared him well for the NCLEX-RN.
