Bautista)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kanoa Football Club claimed the first victory of the season with a lopsided win in Division A of the 2021 Dove Spring Women\u2019s League against Tan Holdings Football Club at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville last Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>Kanoa crushed Tan Holdings, 7-3, behind Krizel Tuazon who contributed three goals with help from Lalaine Pagarao who put up two. Paulynn Joyce and Khristelle Itaas added one goal apiece. <\/p>\n<p>Tan Holdings\u2019 Mia Abuan carried her team with a pair with help from Tamia Hix who found the back of the net once. <\/p>\n<p>In the first match in Division A, Shirley\u2019s Football Club prevailed over Southern United Football Club, 7-6. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_339558\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-339558\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/NMIFA-pix-2-1-300x225.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-339558\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shirley\u2019s Football Club and Southern United Football Club players nudge each nudge each other for the ball during the opening game of the 2021 Dove Spring Women\u2019s League last Saturday. Bautista)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Katrina Costales led Shirely\u2019s to victory with three goals with assistance from Julianne Hall, Jerlyn Castillo, Fiona Bucalig, and Lillian Podziewski who contributed one goal apiece. <\/p>\n<p>Southern United\u2019s Kaithlyn Chavez anchored her team\u2019s victory with a pair of goals while Christina Atalig, Jannah Casarino, and Summer Manahane scored one goal apiece. <\/p>\n<p><strong>DIVISION B<br \/>\nMPU 2, Kanoa, 1<\/strong><br \/>\nMP United nosed out Kanoa during the first match in Division B last Sunday. Breanna Lee and Laarni Zapanta led the team to victory with one goal apiece.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shirley\u2019s 5, Southern United 2<\/strong><br \/>\nShirley\u2019s coasted past Southern United last Sunday behind Jeraldine Castillo who earned two goals.
