{"id":340742,"date":"2021-03-23T06:05:23","date_gmt":"2021-03-22T20:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=340742"},"modified":"2021-03-23T06:05:23","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T20:05:23","slug":"pss-going-back-to-blended-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/pss-going-back-to-blended-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"PSS going back to blended learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Public School System will be going back to blended learning starting Monday, March 29, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In an announcement yesterday, parents were asked to refer to their child(ren\u2019s) blended learning schedule that was given prior to the 14-day self-quarantine that took place due to the recent community cases that were identified a few weeks ago. <\/p>\n<p>The blended learning schedule can be accessed at: http:\/\/bit.ly\/pss_blendedlearning<\/p>\n<p>According to PSS, the safety of PSS staff and families are a high priority and PSS will continue to monitor any community spread that impacts students.<\/p>\n<p>In relation to this, PSS assured that schools will ensure daily sanitizing of classrooms, enforce social distancing indoor and outdoor, temperature checks will be conducted and documented, face masks and\/or face shields will be required at all times for students, staff and visitors, and classrooms will be retrofitted to meet safety measures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis transition back to blended learning is a testament to the work of PSS and the COVID-19 task force,\u201d said Marianas High School principal Jonathan Aguon. \u201cLast year when we encountered the pandemic\u2026we just didn\u2019t have the tech yet.
