(PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Navy trainings set<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014The U.S. Navy will continue to conduct scheduled training in open ocean, Reserve Craft Beach, Warning Area 12, and Warning Area 517 until March 29 from midnight to 11:59pm to include the following coordinates: 13\u02da75&#8243;N\/144\u02da33&#8243;E, 13\u02da75&#8243;N\/144\u02da60&#8243;E, 13\u02da50&#8243;N\/144\u02da60&#8243;E, 13\u02da50&#8243;N\/144\u02da33&#8243;E.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Navy is conducting training in Radio Barrigada until March 25 from 9am to 11:55pm.\u00a0 Blank ammunition is being used for this training. (PR) <\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract awarded for fuel station in Guam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM\u2014Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific has awarded a $24.5 million firm-fixed-price task order under a multiple award construction contract to Hensel Phelps Construction Co., of Honolulu, Hawaii for the design and construction of a fuel station at Marine Corps Base, Joint Region Marianas-Andersen, Guam.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The work to be performed provides for the design and construction of a central fuel station to serve the Marine Corps base in Guam. The project will include fueling stations, a fuel storage facility, a fuel administration building, and a generator building.<\/p>\n<p>Work will be performed in Finegayan, Guam with an expected completion date of August 2023.
