Before completing the move, though, the shop will be holding a relocation sale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeals are good through Saturday until items are loaded on truck for transport. (Mark Rabago)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In an interview with <em>Saipan Tribune<\/em>, Malin said he is closing Saipan Toys LLC\u2019s showroom as a way of reducing overhead costs to pass savings along to customers.<\/p>\n<p>Items on sale include their popular dirt bikes, quad-bikes, and TVs. \u201cCOVID has slowed everything down,\u201d he said when asked why Saipan Toys LLC is closing shop at the intersection of Middle Road and Gualo Rai Road.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_341718\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-341718\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-341718 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Saipan-pix-3-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-341718\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Saipan Toys LLC super-sized smart TVs are also on sale. (Mark Rabago)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When Malin opened Saipan Toys LLC last year he said he did so simply because he\u2019s a connoisseur of \u201cbig boys toys.\u201d But even at that time, he was aware of the inherent risks of opening a new business in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. \u201cIt\u2019s definitely not easy, but it should be good when things pick back up,\u201d he said then.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the closure, Malin assures his customers Saipan Toys LLC will continue to do business but by appointment only.
