The exam is used by nursing boards in all U.S. states and territories to award nursing licenses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe commend Ella for this accomplishment and expect to see great things from her as her educational and professional journey continues,\u201d said NMC Nursing Department chair Rosa T. Aldan. &#8220;Passing the NCLEX-RN and then being licensed as a Registered Nurse are great achievements.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Dela Cruz, she decided to pursue a nursing career because she always had a strong desire to help others and provide comfort and care. Nursing offers a great opportunity to have an impact on the lives of others,\u201d Dela Cruz said. \u201cThat certain feeling of making a difference in people\u2019s lives is what motivates me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dela Cruz said that NMC and its nursing program helped her prepare for the exam. \u201cNMC has helped me prepare for the exam by laying a foundation of knowledge and skills related to the practice of nursing,\u201d Dela Cruz said. \u201cI was able to learn and get hands-on practice on clinical nursing skills throughout nursing school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dela Cruz\u2019s advice to students planning to take the NCLEX is that perseverance is key.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about NMC&#8217;s nursing program, email Aldan at\u00a0rosa.aldan@marianas.edu\u00a0or visit\u00a0www.marianas.edu.
