The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is now gearing up for the 2014 Corporate Challenge and is urging companies to register. <\/p>\n
This year\u2019s Corporate Challenge will take place on May 25, Sunday, at the Minatchom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe. <\/p>\n
The company tent setup will take place a day before the event on May 24, Saturday, from 8am to 5pm. The event will officially start the following day, Sunday, from 8am to 5pm. <\/p>\n
SCC\u2019s Corporate Challenge provides fun, games, sizzling barbecue, corporate displays, music, a company outing opportunity, and worn out team players by day\u2019s end.<\/p>\n
Registration fee is set at $300 per team and all proceeds will go to SCC\u2019s scholarship fund and educational endeavors.<\/p>\n
Deadline for registration is on May 9, Friday, at 5pm and participation is limited to the first 20 teams to register.<\/p>\n
Team roster and waiver forms must be dropped at SCC\u2019s office no later than May 21.<\/p>\n
If participants exceed six, additional copies for sign up must be made. <\/p>\n
The 2014 Corporate Challenge is hosted to celebrate the workforce of the CNMI.<\/p>\n
Last year\u2019s teams included FHP\/TakeCare, ASC Trust, DFS Galleria, G4S Security, IT&E, Coca Cola\/Glimpses, IP&E, Triple J Enterprises\/Hertz, Fiesta Resort, CUC, MarPac Distributors, Delta Management, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Pacific Islands Club, Xerox Corp., and Saipan Shipping Co.<\/p>\n
FHP\/TakeCare Insurance topped last year\u2019s Corporate Challenge, which was a softball competition.<\/p>\n
In related news, the Saipan Chamber\u2019s general meeting will be held this Wednesday, May 7, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan\u2019s Sandcastle at 11:30am.<\/p>\n
Team captains meeting for the Corporate Challenge is scheduled for May 12, at 3:30pm.<\/p>\n
