The household trash drop-off project initiated by Reps. Richard Lizama (D-Saipan) and Leila Staffler (D-Saipan) last April 17, Saturday, proved helpful to Kagman residents, especially those who find it hard to get to the transfer station in Lower Base, or the landfill in Marpi.<\/p>\n

Residents only needed to drive down to the Kagman 2 field to take advantage of the one-day drop-off. <\/p>\n

According to Lizama, a total of 29 vehicles arrived on site with their household trash, filling up three full loads of huge construction containers that were then transferred to the landfill. The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to the community for the \u201coverwhelming\u201d response to the first community trash collection project, and for helping keep the community clean.<\/p>\n
