(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Rommel Dizon conquered the beginner\u2019s category with an unofficial time of 30 minutes during the Saipan Unity Lions Club\u2019s 5th Annual Bike Race held last Sunday at Banzai Cliff.<\/p>\n<p>The 42-year-old The Water Company staff is an avid cyclist but it was his first time winning a bike race last Sunday and it was definitely a shock. <\/p>\n<p>When asked how he felt, Dizon said he was tired and figuratively felt like he would pass out from the difficulty of the course but the win was worth it. <\/p>\n<p>Dizon said in terms of preparation, he made sure to consume at least two eggs every morning for two weeks in addition to biking a few hours every day. <\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Unity Lion\u2019s Club president Alicia Barbo, about $2,300 was raised from the biking event. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery registration was $20.
