(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Shirley\u2019s Football Club is holding on tight to its No. 1 ranking in Division B with a win-loss record of 6-2 over halfway through the M-League Spring 2021 season. <\/p>\n<p>With just six games remaining, Shirley\u2019s still runs the risk of losing its current standing and its chance at an outright spot in the finals, with just a one-win advantage over Bangladesh FC after triumphing in its match last weekend. Bangladesh FC holds a win-loss record of 5-2 with one draw. Also vying for an automatic seat to the finals is Saipan United with a win-loss record of 5-3. <\/p>\n<p>In its match against Saipan United, Shirley\u2019s edged its foe with a 4-2 victory behind Dhiraj Chhetri, Guang Zhi Jin, Jack Phan, and Ho Jin Woo who made one goal apiece. <\/p>\n<p>Chhetri took the lead for Shirley\u2019s with a goal in the 7th minute followed by a goal from Jin to put Shirley\u2019s in the lead. <\/p>\n<p>Saipan United\u2019s Ichiro Borja brought the game to a 2-2 tie in the 25th minute but Phan broke that tie with his goal in the 44th minute. (Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>DIVISION A<br \/>\nTanHoldings 2, Paire 1<\/strong><br \/>\nMeanwhile, TanHoldings remains Division A\u2019s top team after besting Paire 1. <\/p>\n<p>TanHoldings\u2019 Michiteru Mita and Joshua Waldo landed a goal each to bring the team to victory in the last 30 minutes of the match. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Kanoa 1, U18 Team B 0<\/strong><br \/>\nKanoa\u2019s John Guiller Canape carried the team to victory after landing the only goal of the game in the first 10 minutes. <\/p>\n<p><strong>The One 2, Old B Bank 1<\/strong><br \/>\nThe One\u2019s Timothy Tawanpiy brought the game to a tie in the 49th minute after teammate Jin Koo Cho scored a goal for the opposite team.
