(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tasi to Table Inc. launched TTT Rota last Saturday and held the club\u2019s first meeting at the Rota Mayor\u2019s Office conference room, to expand further the program\u2019s goal to instill the love of fishing among the youth and give high schoolers elective hours that go toward graduation.<\/p>\n<p>Guest speakers from the Department of Public Safety, Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance, and the Western Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Council did presentations to the club\u2019s new members from the Rita H. Inos Jr.\/Sr. High School.<\/p>\n<p>DPS did a presentation on boating safety and the many needs and uses of emergency flares while MINA presented on the environmental impact that trash has on the ocean, similar to their presentation at TTT Tinian\u2019s first meeting.<\/p>\n<p>WesPac coordinator Floyd Masga presented to the students the council\u2019s many career-building opportunities in fishery management, and also spoke about the council\u2019s summer high school classes and scholarship programs for those seeking higher education. \u201cTTT has proven over and over their passion towards educating the youth as well as whole community. \u2026It was an honor to be a part of TTT Rota\u2019s presentation,\u201d said Masga.<\/p>\n<p>TTT Rota will meet again at the Rota Mayor\u2019s Office conference room on May 15 from 9am to 1pm. The Rota branch was made possible through Gov. Ralph DLG Torres and Lt. Gov. Arnold I.
