(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Atkins Kroll Saipan and its Community Matters program donated $1,000 to representatives of the Make-A-Wish Foundation yesterday in the Toyota showroom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that today\u2019s donation will assist in making a wish come true for one of the CNMI\u2019s children facing a critical illness. While the CNMI and the rest of the world are still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, we tend to forget that children in our community face severe challenges of serious health conditions. Our donation also includes our thoughts and well-wishes for speedy recoveries,\u201d said Joel Lesh, AK Saipan vice president and general manager.<\/p>\n<p>The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam &amp; CNMI serves the islands of Guam and the Northern Marianas, granting the wishes of medically eligible children who are between the ages of 2-1\/2 and 18.<\/p>\n<p>Community Matters is Atkins Kroll\u2019s \u201ccare for the community\u201d program. Its purpose is to contribute value and support where possible to non-profit organizations or endeavors in their charitable or community pursuit to help make the CNMI a better place to live, work, and play. Atkins Kroll will accept nominations for its next $1,000 donation from non-profit organizations and other community endeavors.
