(Joshua Santos)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Marianas High School\u2019s music program held a musical tribute to the school\u2019s graduating class and its two vice principals last Tuesday and yesterday at the MHS cafeteria, under the guidance of music teacher Gina Aguilar.<\/p>\n<p>Called \u201cA Music Tribute for the Class of 2021 and Honoring Vice Principals Mrs. Rdiall and Mr. Orsini,\u201d the event featured the MHS Chorale, seven singing cohorts made up of students from Aguilar\u2019s four Music class periods, an orchestra, the MHS Dolphin Band, and the MHS Concert Band. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MHS-pix2-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-343589\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Chorale performed a traditional worship song, Sing O Heavens, and I\u2019ll Be There by The Jackson 5, while some highlights from the event\u2019s multiple cohorts include Best Friend by Rex Orange County, Viva La Vida by Coldplay, and Stand by Me by Ben King. <\/p>\n<p>The student orchestra played Por Una Cabeza and City of Stars from the movie La La Land, while the Dolphin Band played favorites like Ride by Twenty One Pilots and Rewrite the Stars by Anne-Marie &amp; James Arthur. <\/p>\n<p>The MHS Concert Band performed three of their best pieces: Afterburn by Randall D. Standridge, music from Pixar\u2019s The Incredibles, and Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. <\/p>\n<p>In his closing remarks, MHS vice principal Romolo Orsini wished for MHS\u2019 senior class to follow their passions and to remain authentic and genuine as they go through the next phases of their lives. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am just so humbled by the talent that each and every one of our students possess, and moreso I would really like to encourage their parents, families, and their teachers to really bring them up.
