{"id":343710,"date":"2021-05-07T06:00:55","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T20:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=343710"},"modified":"2021-05-07T06:00:55","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T20:00:55","slug":"regal-reopens-may-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/regal-reopens-may-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Regal reopens May 21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mount Carmel School is bringing movies back to Saipan with its next film, Zero2Hero, which will have its premiere screenings at Regal Saipan Megaplex (formerly Hollywood Theaters) on May 21.<\/p>\n<p>The movie is part of the MCS Theatre Club\u2019s ongoing celebration of its 25th anniversary and is a sequel to the cult classic, Zero to Hero, which was released 10 years ago. Zero2Hero stars Jill Mallari and Aleia Santos as Re\u2019ha and Roze, two school rivals who are mentored by their older cousins, Richard and Zero, played by the two stars of the first film, Kevin Bautista and Victor Cabrera. The movie is directed by Jedric Villar and was written by school president and the director of the first movie, Galvin Deleon Guerrero, along with Theatre Club alumnus Justin Ocampo.<\/p>\n<p>As a lead up to the premiere, on Friday, May 14\u2014one week before the premiere of Zero2Hero\u2014the MCS Theatre Club will release, for the first time, the first film, 2010\u2019s Zero to Hero, for free on the school\u2019s YouTube channel at\u00a0www.youtube.com\/c\/MountCarmelSchool.<\/p>\n<p>When tickets go on sale, to comply with COVID-19 Mitigation Guidelines, tickets will be limited and available only on a first-come, first-served basis. Funding for this production is provided by the CNMI CARES Relief Fund for Organizations and supported by the National Endowment for the Arts through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act of 2020.
