Sometimes we turn it into a whole week, play different games from around the world, or bring in food because it is a way to celebrate and represent the different cultures at our school,” she said.

Another teacher, Sara Alyse, said the students get to wear any clothing not necessarily related or specific to their culture or background. “It is also a way for students to wear traditional clothes and food from other cultures. Then we talk about the different cultures and tradition and where they got their attire from and ask if they ever visited that place. I think it’s important to celebrate life and as people in our community come from different parts of the world, it should be celebrated because we are all humans, it brings color and more excitement to life,” she said.

While the whole world celebrates Mother’s Day on Sunday, Brilliant Stars School on Navy Hill…

[9

post-343745","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-supplement
["GET
