{"id":344021,"date":"2021-05-12T06:00:29","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T20:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=344021"},"modified":"2021-05-12T06:00:29","modified_gmt":"2021-05-11T20:00:29","slug":"navy-awards-45m-for-health-clinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/navy-awards-45m-for-health-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"Navy awards $45M for health clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM\u2014Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific awarded a $45 million firm-fixed price contract May 10 to Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima, LLC, of Tamuning, Guam, for the construction of a medical and dental clinic at Marine Corps Base Guam.<\/p>\n<p>The contract supports the Defense Policy Review Initiative and is funded by the Japanese government as part of the international agreement between the United States and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis\u2026facility\u2026will be operational in time to support the force flow of Marines from Okinawa to Guam,\u201d said NAVFAC Pacific Guam program management office director Will Boudra.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This new facility will include a Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Laboratory, Logistics, Optometry, Occupational Health and Dental Departments. Work will be performed in Guam with an expected completion date of May 2023.
