{"id":344155,"date":"2021-05-13T06:00:07","date_gmt":"2021-05-12T20:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=344155"},"modified":"2021-05-13T06:00:07","modified_gmt":"2021-05-12T20:00:07","slug":"join-chccs-mental-health-awareness-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/join-chccs-mental-health-awareness-run\/","title":{"rendered":"Join CHCC\u2019s Mental Health Awareness Run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. has introduced a virtual 5K\/1-mile Mental Health Awareness Month Run that will go on for the entire month of May. <\/p>\n<p>The CHC Community Guidance Center is encouraging everyone to participate in the virtual event to spread awareness about mental health from May 3 to May 31, and the best part, it\u2019s at your own pace and at your own convenience. <\/p>\n<p>For those who would like to support the virtual run, all you must do is download any running app, record your distance, and post a screenshot with the hashtags #MENTALHEALTHMATTERS and #NMI4MENTALHEALTH. <\/p>\n<p>With May proclaimed Mental Health Awareness Month, the CGC says is a timely reminder that one\u2019s emotional, psychological, and social well-being are important to one\u2019s overall health. <\/p>\n<p>CGC encourages everyone struggling to try out the \u201cFive Senses Grounding Technique\u201d to calm yourself when faced with challenging thoughts, emotions, or situations. <\/p>\n<p>If you or a loved one is feeling overwhelmed by stress and feel you cannot cope, there are ways to get help.
