Ralph DLG Torres has nominated a consultant for  the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority in Guam to serve as a member of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. board of directors.  <\/p>\n<p>Torres has informed Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider (R-Tinian) of his appointment of Frederick P. Q. Tupaz to serve a four-year term as CUC board director.<\/p>\n<p>The governor said Tupaz\u2019s knowledge and skill as a program manager, planner, and consultant for the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority will bring \u201can invaluable skillset to CUC\u2019s board of directors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The appointment requires the Senate\u2019s advice and consent.<\/p>\n<p>Torres said that being a CUC director is a demanding job that requires skill, experience, and sound business judgment. \u201cI am confident that Mr. Tupaz possesses those traits and will devote his best efforts in looking out for interests of CUC,\u201d the governor said.<\/p>\n<p>At present, Miranda V. Manglona is the CUC board\u2019s chairperson, while Weston Thomas Deleon Guerrero is its vice chairperson. The other members are Jovita Paulino as secretary, Matthew Holley as treasurer, and Aubrey Hocog as member representing the Commonwealth Development Authority.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
