The Saipan Chamber of Commerce\u2019s 2021 Scholarship Golf Tournament set for this weekend is officially maxed out. <\/p>\n
According to Lee Tenorio, Chamber executive director, as of yesterday, the event was completely maxed out at 144 registered golfers. <\/p>\n
The Chamber\u2019s Two-Man Scramble Scholarship Golf Tournament is set for this Saturday, at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort west course with show time at 6am and a shotgun to start at 7am.<\/p>\n
With the ongoing pandemic, the Chamber has implemented COVID-19 procedures to ensure the safety of golfers, which includes issuing pre-tournament registration packets to alleviate crowding the morning of the tournament. <\/p>\n
The annual fundraising event provides financial support for the Saipan Chamber Scholarship Program, which awards local students seeking higher education to better contribute to our community.<\/p>\n
Men and women of different skill levels will have a chance at amazing cash prizes with first place winners to earn $800, second place $650, and third place at $500 for two categories; Team Gross and Team Double Peoria. <\/p>\n
In addition, hole-in-one prizes include $5,000 from McDonald\u2019s of Saipan, a 2021 Toyota Highlander from Atkins Kroll Saipan, a $10,000 Cash Prize from United Equipment Rental, and a 2021 Kia Seltos from Joeten Motor Company, Inc.<\/p>\n
