Igisomar has been appointed to serve as the secretary of the Department of Public Lands. The appointment requires the advice and consent of the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Igisomar is required to file a statement of financial interest with the Office of the Public Auditor in compliance with the law.<\/p>\n<p>The DPL secretary\u2019s position has been vacant after Gov. Ralph DLG Torres appointed its chief, Marianne Concepcion-Teregeyo, to head the newly created Infrastructure and Recovery Program that is intended to streamline the close to $1 billion worth of recovery and infrastructure projects in the CNMI.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former senator Sixto K.
