Meanwhile, their sister team, Kanoa 1, also prevailed over Shirley\u2019s FC, 5-1, in the U10 division. <\/p>\n<p>Kanoa consisted of members Khoen Alexander Codeen Torres, Keanu Pangelinan, Hayven Moteisou, Aaron Iglecias, Neia Dolana Tagabuel, Isaiah Sablan, Logan Propst, Jay Santos Jr., Xander George Binghit, and Jeffrey Isaac. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_345377\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-345377\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/President-pix-2-300x194.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-345377\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Kanoa FC player dribbles the ball during their U8 match of the President\u2019s Cup last Saturday.\u00a0(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kanoa 1\u2019s team members were Aldric John Antonio, Ronald James Manabat, Izaiah Tenorio, Donald Tagabuel, Aiden Cassidey Reyes, Damien Michael Concepcion, Chance Payton Reyes, Juan Alfonso Magboo, and Jessalyn Isaac. <\/p>\n<p>In the U8 double-elimination tournament, Kanoa prevailed by a come-from-behind win against Shirley\u2019s in the semifinals. After losing its semifinals match to Shirley\u2019s, 2-5, Kanoa fell to the loser\u2019s bracket where they faced and crushed FSC, 4-2, to land the second finals seat. <\/p>\n<p>Aside from its first loss against Shirley\u2019s, Kanoa beat Matansa Football Club, 4-0, before moving on to conquer Paire Football Club, 3-2, in the quarterfinals of the winner\u2019s bracket. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_345378\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-345378\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/President-pix-3-300x186.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-345378\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kanoa FC players pose for a photo after prevailing in the U8 division of the President\u2019s Cup last Saturday.\u00a0(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Shirley\u2019s coasted through the tournament before eventually losing to Kanoa in the finals. They bested TanHoldings, 4-0, before dominating FSC, 4-0. Shirley\u2019s later moved on to beat Kanoa to land the first finals seat. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the U10 division, Kanoa 1 took a contrasting route to victory by sweeping all their matches during the double-elimination tournament last weekend. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_345379\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-345379\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/President-pix-4-300x238.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-345379\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Kanoa 1 player intercepts the ball during the U10 match of the President\u2019s Cup last Saturday.\u00a0(Contributed Photo)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kanoa 1 first defeated Kanoa 2, 7-0, to advance to its match against Shirley\u2019s, 3-1.
