Lou Leon Guerrero and Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio issued the following statements after the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention lowered Guam\u2019s travel risk from Level 4 to Level 2:<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe welcome CDC\u2019s downgrade in travel risk for Guam from very high to moderate. This complements our recently updated protocols that allow vaccinated travelers to enter our borders without quarantine,\u201d said Leon Guerrero. \u201cWe also have a unique opportunity to share Guam\u2019s vaccination success with expatriates in our region&#8211;an initiative we expect to roll out shortly. Additionally, I have requested to increase Guam\u2019s vaccine supply to enable non-U.S. citizens to travel to Guam for their shots.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tenorio added, \u201cThis downgrade in travel risk speaks volumes of our collective work to defeat COVID-19. Our island heeded the call to action and delivered.
