{"id":345886,"date":"2021-06-11T06:01:43","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T20:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=345886"},"modified":"2021-06-11T06:01:43","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T20:01:43","slug":"nmc-to-host-info-sessions-on-tinian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/nmc-to-host-info-sessions-on-tinian\/","title":{"rendered":"NMC to host info sessions on Tinian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tinian residents who are interested in furthering their education are encouraged to attend Northern Marianas College\u2019s free information sessions on June 16 and June 30, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The event will cover information on the admissions application process, financial aid, class registration, and academic programs and services.<\/p>\n<p>The first info session will be held on June 16, from 10am to 11:30am at the Tinian Center Library. The second info session will be held on June 30 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the Tinian Mayor\u2019s Office conference room. As part of NMC\u2019s COVID-19 safety protocols, participants are asked to wear masks or face coverings when attending these sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Staff members from the Tinian Municipal Scholarship office will be present at these sessions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC\u2019s upcoming fall 2021 semester\u2014a savings of about $75.<\/p>\n<p>NMC\u2019s summer semester will start on June 21, 2021 and its fall 2021 semester will begin on Aug. 16, 2021.
