(JHUN PULONGARIT\/MERCHANDISING MANAGER)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>GUAM\u2014Gemkell Corp. showed its support for Guam\u2019s stray and homeless animals in May by holding a fundraiser for Guam Animals In Need at their Friends &amp; Family Outlet location in the Tumon Sands Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>Friends &amp; Family Outlet customers\u00a0were able to purchase brightly colored\u00a0GAIN\u00a0T-shirts, collars, leashes, and travel water bowls, which raised\u00a0an amazing $2,556.00 for GAIN. \u201cWe&#8217;ve\u00a0never had a partnership quite like this and we were excited to try something new,\u201d said Alison Hadley, executive director of GAIN.<\/p>\n<p>Gemkell not only donated 100% of the proceeds made from the GAIN item purchases, but they also held a strong social media presence promoting the items as well as GAIN\u2019s mission and\u00a0GAIN\u2019s adoptable pets. \u201cCommunity relationships such as this is so important for both non-profits and businesses.
