Apatang, his office\u2019s plans for this year\u2019s celebrations will remain, as it is now too close to July 4 to make new plans.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement obtained via email through an Office of the Mayor staff member, Apatang explained how long it typically takes to plan Liberation Day festivities, and what will be a part of the celebrations this year. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is still no change, it is too close to the date to start planning the Liberation Day festivities because it normally takes about four months to prepare.
