June\u2019s best net score was built around a 40 in the front nine and 42 in the back nine, which before Mendoza\u2019s 17 handicap was calculated, gave him a gross score of 82. <\/p>\n<p>Fil-Taga president Tony Cabrera finished second to Mendoza for the June Ace. The 22-handicapper came away with a net score 70 after a 92 gross score. He went 45-47 in the first and final nine holes and won $70 for his troubles. <\/p>\n<p>Completing the Top 3 for the month was Hak Chon Bae, who fired a net 71 built around a 44 and 42 in the front and back nines that gave him a gross of 86. Bae, who won $60, has a handicap of 17. <\/p>\n<p>Bae actually tied Ruben Avendano for the month\u2019s third-best net, but edged the latter in a scorecard tiebreak. Avendano, a 19-handicapper, swung a gross of 90 on the strength of a 43 in the front nine and a 47 in the back nine. He got $50. <\/p>\n<p>Henry Bautista rounded out the Top 5 for the June tourney after scoring a 72 net and was $40 richer. The 13-handicapper had a gross of 85 following halves of 42 and 43.
