Look no farther than Cosmo Lounge on the second floor of the Golden Plaza Building across Kanoa Resort in Susupe.

Owner Kyung Yi Lee said Cosmo Lounge doubles as a meeting lounge and study cafe.

“Cosmo Lounge is for people who want to have a quiet and comfortable meeting place. Students who want to do a project together can always go to cafes, but they’re not very quiet and there are no separate rooms,” she said.

The use of Cosmo Lounge’s rooms costs only $5 for a minimum of two hours with one-time free serving of coffee, tea, or water.

“Cosmo Lounge is not a café; it’s more of a place for group meetings, group study, and where students can work on group projects,” Lee added.

The new business is called Cosmo Lounge because they already have an existing tour company called Cosmo Tours. “In keeping with the theme Cosmo, we named it Cosmo Lounge,” he added.

Inside, professionals and students can sit in comfortable seats and use large and functional tables for work or projects they need to finish. There are also dividers inside the rooms for whenever teams want to break into smaller groups.

And because it’s simply a lounge, Cosmo Lounge doesn’t serve food outside of the delicious cake for sale in their display cabinet and the coffee, tea, or water that they’re offering for free as an opening promotion. Customers can bring in “simple” snacks, the owner said.

Cosmo Lounge is allowed 50 customers under guidelines set by the COVID-19 Task Force and is open everyday from 8am to 7pm.
