A man was arrested for chucking a cinder block at his sister\u2019s vehicle. <\/p>\n
Elmanu Seman, 26, who allegedly threw a cinder block at his sister\u2019s car window back on July 22 and shattered it, was charged with assault and battery, and criminal mischief. His initial bail was set at $10,000. <\/p>\n
After appearing before Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph Camacho last Friday for a bail hearing, Camacho granted Seman\u2019s request to post $1,000.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, Seman told police that he had an argument with his sister on July 22, at their mother\u2019s house. He said his sister told him that she took something that belonged to him.<\/p>\n
He then noticed that his black pouch was missing so he assumed that his sister took it because he allegedly saw her walking out of the room with something black.<\/p>\n
When he asked for it, Seman said his sister acted dumb.<\/p>\n
Seman said when his sister saw that he had picked up half of a cinder block, she jumped into her car. He told her that if she didn\u2019t open her car door, he would crack it by throwing the cinder block at it, which he allegedly did.<\/p>\n
Seman told police that he did not intend to throw it at her, just to crack the window. <\/p>\n
At the scene, responding police officers said they observed that the driver-side window of the victim\u2019s car was shattered. <\/p>\n
