Vicente Iriarte, who was last Friday\u2019s winner of $2,000 in the Road to 80 raffle draw, finally got hold of his prize yesterday, soon after getting his second vaccine shot\u2014and thus be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.<\/p>\n
Road to 80 program manager and raffle host Brad Ruszala personally handed Iriarte his prize yesterday morning during a Facebook livestream from the Marianas High School vaccination outreach site.<\/p>\n
During the livestream, Ruszala announced what is coming up next in prizes as part of Road to 80 vaccination campaign. One winner of $2,500 will be announced today and that $3,000 will be raffled off on Aug. 13; $3,500 on Aug. 20; and $4,000 on Aug. 27.<\/p>\n
Road to 80\u2019s grand finale on Aug. 28 at the Taste of the Marianas main stage will feature six raffles: three $2,500 prizes each for Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, and three CNMI-wide raffles to select one winner each for $5,000, $15,000, and a 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport. <\/p>\n
Today, Aug. 5, Road to 80 will be selecting one winner of $2,500 during a livestream on its Facebook page. To qualify, a person must be a CNMI resident and must have already received their first dose of the Pfizer\/BioNTech or Moderna vaccine or their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson or Janssen vaccine. Everyone who has registered at vaccinatecnmi.com to be vaccinated and has received their shots qualify for the raffle.<\/p>\n
For winners to claim their prize, they must submit proof that they are fully vaccinated. For those who received the Pfizer\/BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, this means providing the second vaccine confirmation number. Those who received the Johnson & Johnson or Janssen vaccines only need to provide their single vaccine confirmation number.<\/p>\n
