(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>HAGATNA, Guam\u2014Bank of Guam\u2019s 2020 Year in Review has won honors at the 35th International Annual Report Competition organized by MerComm International annually.<\/p>\n<p>This is the fourth time that the bank has been recognized for excellence in the contest, which is the world\u2019s largest international competition honoring excellence in annual reports from corporations, small companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and associations.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 competition saw 1,700 companies competing this year from 35 countries around the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are deeply proud that talent from our region continues to be recognized worldwide among many categories,\u201d said Joaquin P.L.G. Cook, Bank of Guam president and chief executive officer. \u201cThe 2020 Year in Review speaks to the theme, \u2018What Does Hope Look Like\u2019 and illustrates the many ways that our community is resilient, adaptable, compassionate, and grateful. Those qualities remain the foundation of our people and our islands meeting global challenges together and with purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/ARC_2021_logo-COLOR.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-350197\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/ARC_2021_logo-COLOR-286x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"286\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jackie Marati, the bank\u2019s senior vice president\/chief communications and corporate social responsibility officer, added, \u201cWe continue to be encouraged by our team who consistently produces outstanding communication pieces and are humbled by the international recognition,\u2028and validation we just received.
