Sean Jay gave Ko’Bees some wiggle room in the second when he unloaded 8 points to give his team a 24-16 spread at the break.

John Hardpol took off where Jay left off in the third, firing from everywhere en route to scoring 15 points in the quarter as Ko’Bees appeared on its way to an easy win leading by 9 points, 40-31, with 10 minutes left in the contest.

But Jello Bungabong ignited his RNV teammates to rally in the fourth and final quarter only to come short when they misfired from the 15-foot line.

Hardpol paced Ko’Bees with 27 points—all in the second half. Jay also chipped in 13 in the win, Ko’Bees’ second in eight games. The 1-7 RNV team was paced by the 18 markers of Rod Borca, while Bunganong wound up with 11.

In the second game, Dennis and Anthony Borja combined for 41 points in Team CNMI’s 78-57 dismantling of SMA Flyers. The win improved CNMI’s win-loss record to 4-3, while SMA Flyers dropped to 2-5.

Dennis led CNMI with 21 points, but Anthony was not far behind with 19 points of his own. Rico Canlas fired 16 markers in the loss, while Tanley Villagracia added 13 points.

First Game
Ko’Bees 50 – Hardpol 27, Jay 13, Stanley 6, Miller 5, Slim 3.
RNV 48 – Borca 18, Bungabong 11, Uda Undo 5, Bucayag 4, Tortor 4, Albano 4, Lauyon 2, Rizardo 2.
Scoring by quarters: 11-10, 24-16, 40-31, 50-48.

Second Game
CNMI 78 – D.
