Guam\u2019s COVID-19-related death toll has now passed 200, with six new deaths reported between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3.<\/p>\n
The Joint Information Center in Guam reported Monday the island\u2019s 199th, 200th, 201st, 202nd, 203rd, and 204th COVID-19-related deaths. <\/p>\n
The 199th COVID-19-related death was an unvaccinated 52-year-old female with underlying health conditions. She tested positive for COVID-19 on Sept. 29, and was pronounced dead at the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam on Sept. 29. <\/p>\n
The 200th was an unvaccinated 27-year-old male with underlying health conditions. He tested positive on Sept. 30, and was pronounced dead at the Guam Memorial Hospital on Sept. 30. <\/p>\n
The 201st was a vaccinated 62-year-old female with underlying health conditions who was a known positive case. She was pronounced dead at GMH on Sept. 30. <\/p>\n
The 202nd was an unvaccinated 69-year-old male with underlying health conditions who was a known positive case. He was pronounced dead at the Guam Regional Medical City on Oct. 1. <\/p>\n
The 203rd was an unvaccinated 52-year-old male with underlying health conditions who was a known positive case. He was pronounced dead at GRMC on Oct. 2. <\/p>\n
The 204th was an unvaccinated 83-year-old male with underlying health conditions who was a known positive case. He was pronounced dead at GRMC on Oct. 3. <\/p>\n
Guam Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said that she, first gentleman Jeff Cook, and Guam Lt. Gov. Joshua Tenorio are praying for healing for those in this \u201cmost difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n
