Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center as the polling venue for the special election\u2019s seven-day early voting that will start this Saturday, Oct. 9.<\/p>\n<p>CEC executive director Kayla S. Igitol said yesterday that the commission has also designated the polling places for the Oct. 16 special election.<\/p>\n<p>Igitol said voters must ensure that they bring with them an identification card with picture as they will be required to present it in order to be issued a ballot at the polling sites.<\/p>\n<p>For the early voting, the voting hours will be from 8:30am to 4pm. The early voting, which includes Sunday, will end on Oct. 15.<\/p>\n<p>For the special election day, the designated polling places are:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Oleai Elementary School cafeteria for Precinct 3A (San Jose).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Garapan Elementary School cafeteria for Precincts 3B-1 (Garapan) and 3B-2 (Garapan).<\/p>\n<p>Igitol said the polling places  for the special election day will open at 7am and close at 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>The special election is being held to fill the House of Representatives Precinct 3 seat left vacant by the sudden passing of representative Ivan A. Blanco last July 23.<\/p>\n<p>Corina L. Magofna of the NMI Democratic Party, and Grace \u201cPitu\u201d Sablan Vaiagae of the NMI Republican Party, are the only candidates. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Commonwealth Election Commission has designated the Pedro P.
