{"id":354645,"date":"2021-10-27T06:01:05","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T20:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=354645"},"modified":"2021-10-27T06:01:05","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T20:01:05","slug":"chcc-transitioning-to-managing-medical-referral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/chcc-transitioning-to-managing-medical-referral\/","title":{"rendered":"CHCC transitioning to managing Medical Referral"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eight years since the Medical Referral Program was placed under the Office of the Governor, the program is going back to the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., according to CHCC chief executive officer Esther L. Mu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during a radio news briefing last Friday, Mu\u00f1a said that CHCC is now transitioning to managing the program, including an employee orientation for Medical Referral Services Office staff as they \u201cbecome part of the CHCC family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CHCC has also been reviewing the accounts of those availing of the MRSO\u2019s services to \u201censure that services can continue,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<p>In May 2013, then-governor Eloy S. Inos issued an executive order ordering CHCC to transfer management of the program to the Office of the Governor, which then assumed responsibility for the administration and operation of the office. This year, Gov.
