{"id":355135,"date":"2021-11-03T06:03:09","date_gmt":"2021-11-02T20:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=355135"},"modified":"2021-11-03T06:03:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-02T20:03:09","slug":"another-ccc-manager-quits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/another-ccc-manager-quits\/","title":{"rendered":"Another CCC manager quits"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_355138\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-355138\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Leon-pixfx.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-355138\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Leon-pixfx.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"707\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-355138\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Commonwealth Casino Commission Division of Audit and Compliance manager Leonard Leon, seated right, attends the CCC board\u2019s monthly meeting Thursday.<br \/>(FERDIE DE LA TORRE)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another staff holding a critical position at the Commonwealth Casino Commission has resigned, leaving the CCC with only 11 personnel, including its executive director, Andrew Yeom.<\/p>\n<p>At the CCC board\u2019s monthly meeting last, Yeom disclosed that Division of Audit and Compliance manager Leonard Leon is resigning effective this Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Yeom told Saipan Tribune yesterday that they will remain at 12 personnel because they will soon hire someone to replace Leon.<\/p>\n<p>At last week\u2019s meeting, Yeom said he and the remaining staff will have to pick up the slack as much as they can in the meantime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, I hope to quickly hire at least one person with casino audit and compliance experience to fill the crucial role,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Yeom used to hold the position.<\/p>\n<p>CCC\u2019s Enforcement and Investigations manager Vicente B.
