{"id":355499,"date":"2021-11-10T06:01:53","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T20:01:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=355499"},"modified":"2021-11-10T06:01:53","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T20:01:53","slug":"bank-of-guam-wins-recognition-for-marketing-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bank-of-guam-wins-recognition-for-marketing-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"Bank of Guam wins recognition for marketing excellence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HAGATNA, Guam\u2014For the fourth consecutive year, Bank of Guam has earned MarCom Awards in marketing and communications excellence, for which there were 6,000 entries from submissions in 41 countries for the 2021 MarCom International Awards Competition.<\/p>\n<p>The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, which sponsors these competitions, announced that Bank of Guam has won the following:<\/p>\n<p>PLATINUM: 2020 BankGuam Holding Year in Review &#8211; What Hope Looks Like<\/p>\n<p>PLATINUM: Bank of Guam Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility &#8211; 2021 Founder\u2019s Day of Giving Project<\/p>\n<p>PLATINUM: Bank of Guam Team Award for Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Department<\/p>\n<p>HONORABLE MENTION: 2021 Bank of Guam Calendar: The Language of Hope<\/p>\n<p>HONORABLE MENTION: 2021 Bank of Guam Internal Newsletter (BITS &amp; BYTES), Sustainable Farming<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are ecstatic for the recognition earned by our Bank of Guam familia team and the pieces produced by them,\u201d said Joaquin P.L.G. Cook, Bank of Guam president and chief executive officer. \u201cSince our first entry in 2018, Bank of Guam has now earned 14 awards for its locally created and produced pieces, representing distinguished honors for our organization. Marati, Bank of Guam\u2019s senior vice president\/chief communications and corporate social responsibility officer said, \u201cThese recognitions go well beyond our region and the financial services industry, and speak to the purpose for which we have existed for nearly 50 years. 2020 was a deeply challenging year for all of us, both professionally and personally, and I want to thank the team who continued to work with purpose and compassion these last nearly two years and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, and production companies.<\/p>\n<p>Bank of Guam will celebrate its 50th anniversary in March 2022, and maintains 17 branches throughout Guam, the CNMI, Republic of Palau, Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and San Francisco, California under TASI Bank.
