{"id":355564,"date":"2021-11-11T06:01:37","date_gmt":"2021-11-10T20:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=355564"},"modified":"2021-11-11T06:01:37","modified_gmt":"2021-11-10T20:01:37","slug":"nmi-salvation-army-inaugural-red-kettle-ball-canceled-but","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/nmi-salvation-army-inaugural-red-kettle-ball-canceled-but\/","title":{"rendered":"NMI Salvation Army \u2018Inaugural  Red Kettle Ball\u2019 canceled but\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Salvation Army has cancelled what was supposed to be its inaugural \u201cRed Kettle Ball\u201d but there is still a way for companies to give through its \u201cCorporate Red Kettle Challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The recent surge of community cases of COVID-19 prompted the CNMI Salvation Army to cancel the \u201cRed Kettle Ball,\u201d which was supposed to happen on Nov. 19 at Kensington Hotel Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>However, Salvation Army pastor Wayne Gillespie said in an email Tuesday that they have come up with the \u201cCorporate Red Kettle Challenge\u201d to enable private companies to still support the Salvation Army. Gillespie encourages all interested companies to reach out through the CNMI Salvation Army Facebook page at https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CNMI-Salvation-Army-127642837005.<\/p>\n<p>Afterward, Salvation Army members will bring a red kettle to your business where you can drop a donation check.
