Camacho, 21, was arrested for burglary, theft, and conspiracy, while George Grover, 22, was apprehended for conspiracy and receiving stolen property.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Associate Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio imposed yesterday $5,000 cash and $45,000 unsecured bond each for the two suspects\u2019 temporary release.<\/p>\n<p>Preliminary hearing will be on May 20 at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>According to police detective Catherine B. Pangelinan, Camacho admitted to police that he burglarized the house and that Grover served as a lookout.<\/p>\n<p>Pangelinan said that Camacho also confessed to pawning some of the stolen jewelry in two pawnshops and that he blew all the money at Bobbie\u2019s Poker in Gualo Rai.<\/p>\n<p>Pangelinan said some of the stolen items were recovered from the pawnshops.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35569\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35569\" style=\"width: 236px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Grover.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-35569\" alt=\"Gorjonny V. (Ferdie dela Torre)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At the hearing, assistant public defender Benjamin Petersburg appeared as counsel for Grover. A private counsel will be appointed for Camacho.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Pangelinan stated in her report that a police officer responded to a house in As Teo on April 11, 2014, in response to a report of a burglary.<\/p>\n<p>Pangelinan said the stolen items were some jewelry worth $3,000, two iPods, two Fossil watches, two cell phones, and an unspecified amount of cash.<\/p>\n<p>Pangelinan said that Camacho\u2019s sister later appeared at the Commonwealth Bureau of Investigation on May 5, 2014, where she reported that Camacho and Grover were behind the As Teo burglary.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, Pangelinan said, a witness disclosed that he saw Camacho and Grover on the day of the burglary, holding several pieces of jewelry. The witness said he transported Camacho and Grover to a pawnshop in San Vicente and another pawnshop in Garapan.<\/p>\n<p>That same day, May 6, Camacho appeared at the CBI Office and confessed it was him who burglarized the house and that Grover stayed in the jungle upon his instruction.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho reportedly told police that he entered the house through a small, unlocked window.
