The University of Guam School of Health\u2019s Guam\/Micronesia Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program and the Guam Museum are collaborating to offer part four of a virtual tour series specially designed for families with older adults and persons with dementia who might not be able to visit the museum in person. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Part four of the tour\u2014taking place from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday and again from 10am to noon on Saturday\u2014will focus on the museum\u2019s fifth gallery, \u201cTi Geran M\u00e5mi,\u201d which translates into \u201cA War Not of Our Making.\u201d The exhibit depicts the experiences of the people of Guam under the Japanese occupation during World War II from 1941 to 1944.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Guam Museum curator Michael Lujan Bevacqua, who holds a doctorate in ethnic studies and specializes in CHamoru history, language, and culture, will be conducting the virtual tour.\u00a0<\/p>\n
