{"id":356693,"date":"2021-11-30T06:02:24","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T20:02:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=356693"},"modified":"2021-11-30T06:02:24","modified_gmt":"2021-11-29T20:02:24","slug":"4th-small-business-sunday-drew-9-small-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/4th-small-business-sunday-drew-9-small-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"4th \u2018Small Business Sunday\u2019 drew 9 small businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cSmall Business Sunday\u201d hosted by Tyler\u2019s Gelatte Stone was back at the Sugar King Park in Garapan last Sunday, with nine local small businesses participating and live music provided by Larry and Kui Lee of Da Kine.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler\u2019s owner Ben Babauta Jr. said that last Sunday\u2019s event was the fourth staging of the event and was the biggest so far.<\/p>\n<p>A portion of the revenue made Sunday will be going toward the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic &amp; Sexual Violence.<\/p>\n<p>Participating vendors were Neni Girl Nails, Bonito Basula, Candle J Saipan, Hybrid Saipan, Chiku Chiku, Vivid Beauty, Pate Puffs &amp; Pastries, Art Baloon 670, and Mix n\u2019 Macs By Jam. Holding fundraisers on Sunday was NMCADSV and Mount Carmel School.<\/p>\n<p>In a brief interview, Babauta said that turnout was good, seeing \u201ca lot of participation\u201d from the event\u2019s visitors and vendors, and added that there were many pre-Christmas shopping deals. As for when the next \u201cSmall Business Sunday\u201d will take place, Babauta said that further details are in the works.<\/p>\n<p>Babauta thanked everyone for coming and Saipan Mayor David M.
