{"id":356794,"date":"2021-12-01T06:02:08","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T20:02:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=356794"},"modified":"2021-12-01T06:02:08","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T20:02:08","slug":"tinian-judiciary-employee-tests-positive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tinian-judiciary-employee-tests-positive\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinian Judiciary employee tests positive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NMI Supreme Court ordered yesterday the immediate closure of the Tinian courthouse, Kotten Tinian, until Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, soon after a Tinian courthouse employee tested positive for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>In a press statement yesterday, it said the closure of Kotten Tinian is necessary for disinfection purposes. \u201cThe safety of Judiciary employees and court patrons continues to be the No. 1 priority of the NMI Judiciary,\u201d the news release stated.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, the NMI Judiciary informed employees on Tinian that an employee at Kotten Tinian tested positive for COVID-19. The Judiciary also informed Tinian Mayor Edwin P. Aldan of this development. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Judiciary continues to follow the Governor\u2019s COVID-19 Task Force\u2019s guidance and would like to ensure employees and court patrons the Judiciary is taking all the necessary steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota,\u201d said Director of Courts Sonia A.
