(COMMONWEALTH BUREAU OF MILITARY AFFAIRS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Between 35 to 40 people took part in Sunday\u2019s Toys for Tots Bike Ride, with the big turnout coming from the CNMI\u2019s club-affiliated and independent motorcycle riders.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Marine veteran Dr. Dan Chase, who described the event as a success, said in a phone call Sunday that the number of participants fluctuated during the ride, with some joining or leaving the ride as it was underway.<\/p>\n<p>Chase added that there was a change to the ride plans, with the starting and rendezvous point for bikers remaining the same but the ride now beginning at around noon and the new dropoff point for the toys becoming Hyatt Regency Saipan at 2pm, where a contingent of U.S. Marines received the donated toys.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_358053\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-358053\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Toys-Bike-Ride-pix2.jpg\" alt=\"Toys Bike Ride photo 2\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" class=\"size-full wp-image-358053\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-358053\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gov. (COMMONWEALTH BUREAU OF MILITARY AFFAIRS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em>Saipan Tribune<\/em> previously reported that the ride would begin at the Mobil gas station along Middle Road at 9am and end with a toy donation dropoff at the Marines Recruitment Office along Beach Road at around 11:30am.<\/p>\n<p>As for how many toys were donated, Chase said it was \u201ctruckloads\u201d and \u201cboxes on boxes,\u201d with the CNMI\u2019s club-affiliated and non-affiliated riders stepping up for the Toys for Tots program. <\/p>\n<p>After two months of planning and coordinating with the CNMI\u2019s bikers and other community partners, Chase said he was just happy to see everyone, non-riders included, come together to give back to children in need.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_358056\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-358056\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Toys-Bike-Ride-pix3.jpg\" alt=\"A contingent of U.S. Marines receive the donated toys at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" class=\"size-full wp-image-358056\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-358056\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A contingent of U.S. Marines receive the donated toys at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
