(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Grace Christian Academy senior Miku Kimura has been awarded a full four-year scholarship to Wesleyan University in Connecticut as a Questbridge scholar.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Honestly, I was not expecting to receive the honor of becoming a Questbridge finalist. However, I am thankful for this recognition, and this experience will surely assist me as I embark on my college journey,&#8221;\u00a0Kimura said when asked about this latest accomplishment.<\/p>\n<p>The Questbridge National College Match Scholarship is a national program that connects high achieving high school seniors with full scholarships to the nation\u2019s top colleges\/universities.<\/p>\n<p>The National College Match is a highly competitive process drawing applications from impressive students across the country. As noted by Questbridge itself, &#8220;The qualifications of this year&#8217;s applicants were very strong.&#8221; \u00a0In 2021, out of over 16,500 applications, 6,312 students were selected as National College Match Finalists. This year\u2019s Match Scholarship Recipients came from 49 states, as well as the territorities of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<p>GCA congratulates Kimura for being a Questbridge recipient.\u00a0\u201cMiku has worked hard over the years and is well-deserving of this honor. We look forward to all that God has ahead for her,\u201d said GCA principal Beth Nunez.<\/p>\n<p>The entire GCA community wishes to congratulate Kimura and express pride in this wonderful accomplishment.
