Sablan (MP-Ind) over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The FEMA funeral cost assistance aid is available for Marianas families who lose a loved one to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan said in his e-kilili newsletter that applicants for assistance must be U.S. citizens, non-citizen nationals, or qualified aliens. The delegate said the death must have occurred in the United States and been caused by the coronavirus. He said assistance is limited to a maximum of $9,000 per funeral.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo apply for the aid, call toll-free to (844) 684-6333 from 9am to 9pm ET, Monday through Friday,\u201d Sablan said.<\/p>\n<p>The Governor\u2019s COVID-19 Task Force and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. confirmed Saturday the CNMI\u2019s 14th pandemic-related death. <\/p>\n<p>Last week, Patrick C.
