(NMC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As part of its efforts to recognize and acknowledge staff members\u2019 hard work and commitment to students, the Northern Marianas College Staff Senate named three employees as \u201cStaff of the Quarter\u201d awardees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The three are marketing coordinator Miguel Dandan, financial aid counselor Verna Deleon Guerrero, and accountant Catherine \u201cKitty\u201d Villagomez. Each of them will receive a monetary prize and a reserved parking slot for the quarter.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_360875\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-360875\" style=\"width: 214px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/NMC-pix3-PW-11-214x300.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-360875\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Verna Deleon Guerrero. (NMC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cCongratulations to Miguel Dandan, Catherine \u2018Kitty\u2019 Villagomez, and Verna Deleon Guerrero who are the last three staff members to be honored as Staff of the Quarter for 2021,\u201d said NMC Staff Senate president Geri Rodgers. \u201cWhile we recognize that the staff at the college collectively exemplify a hardworking spirit, these three were peer-selected for this special honor. Thank you, Miguel, Kitty, and Verna for your efforts toward making processes run smoothly at the college. We appreciate you!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Staff Senate sponsored a Spring Coffee Connection employee gathering event to announce the awards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very thankful and honored that my coworkers voted for me to have this distinction,\u201d Dandan said. \u201cI\u2019d like to thank my team at Institutional Advancement as well, as I would not have been able to receive this award without their help.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_360873\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-360873\" style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/NMC-pix1-PW-11-224x300.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-360873\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Catherine \u2018Kitty\u2019 Villagomez. (NMC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Deleon Guerrero shared the same sentiments. \u201cI am extremely happy to receive the award,\u201d she said. \u201cIt is an honor to be the first Student Support Service awardee.
