GEORGE, Utah<\/strong>\u2014In a display of academic achievement, three Saipan-born students have made it to the President\u2019s and Dean\u2019s List for the fall 2021 semester of Dixie State University.<\/p>\n<p>The three honorees are Vinson Bacani, Daniel Montano, and Rovin Hillel Bacani, all of them from Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>They were among the 2,627 students included on the honor rolls, which is 21% of Dixie State University students who made it to the honor lists. Specifically, 2,627 students were included on the university\u2019s honor rolls, with 1,212 students on the President\u2019s List and 1,415 on the Dean\u2019s List. Inclusion indicates students\u2019 strong commitment to their academic pursuits, as they must achieve a semester GPA of 3.9 or higher to be included on the President\u2019s List and a GPA of 3.5 to 3.89 for the Dean\u2019s List. Both lists require students to complete a minimum of 15 credits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongratulations to our amazing DSU students who worked diligently this past fall to achieve the highest levels of learning and classroom performance,\u201d\u00a0Dr. Michael Lacourse, vice president of academic affairs, said. \u201cWe are proud of their accomplishment and recognition as members of the fall 2021 honor roll.\u201d <strong>(PR)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ST.
