In the pipeline are eyebrow microblading and eyelash extensions. The salon welcomes you with vibrant colors balanced with light tones and furniture that invites you to relax and regain your energy.<\/p>\n<p>General manager Debralyn David Santos said the vision for Mommyla is to be a full-service spa and salon where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. \u201cOur services will be affordable because our mission is to give customer satisfaction by giving excellent service and great salon experience. \u2026We adhere to the health and safety protocols in the CNMI so people will not hesitate allotting time for self-care,\u201d Santos added.<\/p>\n<p>Mommyla is located beside Salty\u2019s Bar and Grill in Garapan, right in front of the ocean. This makes it the perfect spot to unwind and get pampered, said Santos. \u201cWhat makes us unique is that our location is right at the beachfront\u2014blue ocean, nice breeze, and away from the busy road. This is perfect for relaxation and with any of our services, it is easy to feel pampered. It is like a mini-vacation or escape from work or school,\u201d Santos said.<\/p>\n<p>The name Mommyla is a portmanteau of the words \u201cmommy\u201d and \u201clola,\u201d which is the Filipino term for grandmother. Santos explained that they came up with the name because the company\u2019s president and proprietress, Marlyn Dougherty of Mommyla, is fondly known in the community as everybody\u2019s mommy, and is known for her friendliness and warmth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/mommyla2w.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/mommyla2w.jpg\" alt=\"&quot;\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not only want to project warmth and care in our business name but also in the many services we offer. \u2026We have spa and salon services for now and in the future, we intend to offer barber services and retail. We intend not only to target women but all demographics because of the array of services we have,\u201d said Santos.<\/p>\n<p>2021 Miss Earth Northern Marianas Crystal Fiona Rio, who was at the soft opening of Mommyla early this month, said that going to Mommyla for self-care needs is what most women, especially mothers, need. \u201cWhether it\u2019s escaping a stressful job for the day, leaving the mommy duties to someone else for a few hours or just the need to let to let off a little steam, give yourself a bit of much needed loving attention at Mommyla,\u201d she said. \u201cNo matter what state of physical or mental condition you find yourself in through all different periods of your hectic life, find time to relax, unwind and pamper yourself with one of the beauty treatments at Mommyla. \u2026There\u2019s all these positive and happy vibes when you feel beautiful inside and out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Santos said that they want every client to have a memorable visit at Mommyla. \u201cFrom the moment they walk into our salon, we want them to feel happy, pampered, relaxed and go home satisfied with the service(s) they experienced.
