(MARK RABAGO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Triathlon Association of the CNMI will be hosting the 7th Saipan Aquathlon &amp; 10K Pathway Run tomorrow starting from the Kilili Pavilion in Oleai. <\/p>\n<p>The race is part of the Road to Tagaman Race Series with the aquathlon consisting of a 2.5-kilometer run from the Kilili Pavilion to across Chars Store and back, a 1-km swim twice around the buoys, and capped by another 2.5-km run on the same route. The 10-km run will be from the same starting point as the aquathlon going north toward the turnaround at the Garapan Basketball Court across Bank of Guam.<\/p>\n<p>TRAC secretary general Rickey Castro said they\u2019re expecting around 50 participants for both events. Top 3 finishers for both the aquathlon and 10-km run will be awarded medals.<\/p>\n<p>Registration fee is $20 and includes an event T-shirt. Late registration on race day itself is $30. He was followed by Isaiah Aleksenko in 57:22 with Whitney Altizer completing the Top 3 in 1:00:37. On the women\u2019s race, Kaithlyn Chavez was first in 1:07:53 with Denise Myers and Kerri Bauer finishing second and third with times of 1:03:31 and 1:09:44, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the 10-km run, Abel Tomas was the first to cross the finish line in 45:01, followed by Edward Dela Cruz Jr. (46:00) and Daniel Stutzman (52:41).
