{"id":363407,"date":"2022-03-03T06:03:58","date_gmt":"2022-03-02T20:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=363407"},"modified":"2022-03-03T06:03:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-02T20:03:58","slug":"covid-update-174-new-cases-9-hospitalized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/covid-update-174-new-cases-9-hospitalized\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID update: 174 new cases; 9 hospitalized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As of\u00a0March 1, 2022, there\u00a0were nine\u00a0individuals hospitalized\u00a0as a result of\u00a0COVID-19:\u00a0 one unvaccinated,\u00a0seven vaccinated, and one partially vaccinated\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also, 174\u00a0additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 9,724\u00a0cases since March 26, 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 174\u00a0cases identified on Feb. 28, 2022, a total of were\u00a0identified on Tinian and 10 on Rota.\u00a0The vaccination statuses of the 174\u00a0cases are pending verification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 9,724 total cases that have been identified in the CNMI, as of\u00a0Feb. 28, 2022, there have been 8,967\u00a0recoveries; 727 active cases; and 30 COVID-19-related deaths, A total of 9,064 were identified via community testing and 660 via travel testing.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 36 COVID-19 vaccine shots were administered on March 1, 2022; of the eligible population,\u00a056.9%\u00a0have received an additional dose.
