{"id":363691,"date":"2022-03-08T06:04:40","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T20:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=363691"},"modified":"2022-03-08T06:04:40","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T20:04:40","slug":"covid-update-81-new-cases-10-hospitalized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/covid-update-81-new-cases-10-hospitalized\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID update: 81 new cases; 10 hospitalized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A combined 81 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last two days, while 10\u00a0individuals are hospitalized\u00a0as a result of\u00a0COVID-19, based on the latest report from the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.<\/p>\n<p>CHCC reported last night that 29\u00a0additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 10,155\u00a0cases since March 26, 2020. Some duplicates were deleted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 29 cases, 24 were identified on March 6, 2022, and five prior to March 6, 2022. The day before, CHCC reported 52\u00a0cases that were all identified on March 5, six of them on Tinian.\u00a0The vaccination statuses of the 81\u00a0cases are pending verification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As of\u00a0March 7, 2022, there\u00a0were 10\u00a0individuals hospitalized\u00a0as a result of\u00a0COVID-19. Eight of them were vaccinated and two were partially vaccinated. One of the 10 is on a ventilator.<\/p>\n<p>Of the total 10,155 cases that have been identified in the CNMI, as of\u00a0March 6, 2022, there have been 9,691 recoveries; 434 active cases; and 30 COVID-19-related deaths.
